machine for McLaren electronics, delivered early 2007. Uses a free issue site
networked PC. Since delivery, this machine has been modified to automatically
soak load test a new product. Yet still retains the functionality of their first
machine. Improvements have seen the test parameters and results contained within
Excel, along with real time graphing of results. Test parameters allow the user
to preset speed ramp rates, rate of load application and duration for which the
load is to be applied.

points. Touch sensitive PC screen to provide human interface. Results are direct to Excel, enabling customers to use their existing

05 - Combination Starter and Alternator Test

The Starter tester 05187, to the left in the photograph, is the
first
of this product, on screen control of battery, solenoid and data hold. Manual
footbrake loading, on screen monitor of volts, amps, rpm and torque. Single USB connection
to PC, which could simply be a stand alone laptop. This product can graph results and print - a must for all QA conscious
